George Yankey

An accomplished Information Systems and Technology professional with over two decades of leadership experience across multinational and local organizations, including Nestlé and CIS Ghana Limited. He currently serves as Managing Director of Emergent Payments Ghana Limited, bringing deep expertise in digital payments, data management, and large-scale ICT project implementation.

He has led major regional technology transformations across Central and West Africa, including multi-country SAP deployments and the successful implementation of Mobile Number Portability (MNP) in Ghana.

He holds a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering from the National Technical University of Ukraine and a Senior Systems Analyst/Designer certification from Okinawa International Center, Japan. His leadership is focused on operational excellence, innovation, and delivering secure, reliable payment solutions that drive business growth.
