We are delighted to announce partnerships with the fourth and fifth FSPs on the Savings at the Frontier program which seeks to improve access to financial services for underserved people in rural and peri-urban communities.
This partnership is aimed at supporting both FSPs to meet the demand for financial services by members of Village Savings and Loans Associations (VSLAs) through the mobile phone. VSLA members will be onboarded to use Maximus, a USSD based savings group platform which interacts with all mobile money platforms operating in Ghana. We are currently testing the platform with VSLA groups in Agona, Kwesimintsim, Abusa, Sekondi, Axim, Accra among other towns.
To date, we have expanded access to thousands people who have previously not had access to essential financial services.
