Get together in Joburg
It's about time I organised a meetup in Joburg - a "Hi, pleased to meet you, you don't look anything like your online picture and you sound fairly normal in person, pity about the hair," type thing. And also to meet others who might be thinking and doing the same things you are.
So how about Friday, November 16 around 6pm? We can either do it at a coffee shop or at someone's house (someone volunteered earlier but I can't remember who...). Just an informal gathering and good conversation.

Count me in! Roger, you said above "how about Friday, November 16 around 6pm?" but Fri is the 14th so I assume you meant Fri 14 Nov.
May I suggest Fri 21 Nov since I will be driving back from Polokwane that afternoon after a week away from my family? My wife and I would love to attend. If the 14th suits more people I'm sure we will still be able to make a plan though.

Thank you for the conversation and for creating opportunities to meet others who are on a similar journey. I have found new hope for the church and a greater sense of urgency to start doing what God has laid on my heart to do.

Eish, what can I say, missed the year totally there! Anyway Peter just checking, you are meeting in 2008 right? at the Rocket in Rivonia, Wed 26 Nov at 12:00 pm :) I wanted to come to your previous meeting but unfortunately couldn't get away from work. Hopefully next time.
