Pretoria, or Tshwane, Christian bloggers gathering?
Yesterday I visited Nieu Communities and Roger Saner suggested a Pretoria Christian bloggers gathering. It struck me as a good idea -- it would be nice to meet face to face as well as reading each other's blogs. Perhaps we could widen it to Tshwane, to include people from places like Akasia, Soshanguve and Centurion.
Does anyone else in the area think it's a good idea? And if so when and where?
We could meet at someone's house, or for coffee at a coffee shop somewhere (Greenfields in Hatfield is a wireless hotspot, in case anyone can't bear the thought of being unplugged for an hour or two).

Meetup on July 19th?
This is a great idea, Steve - maybe we should pick a date a few weeks in the future and see who turns up. Are Saturday mornings generally a good time? Say, 9:30? Or maybe later, at 3pm. How about July 19th? My vote goes for Greenfields. Oh yes - I'm quite partial to giving anyone a lift if needed :)

Saturday mornings are usually pretty busy in Hatfield in General, and Greenfields in particular, though 9:30 might be early enough to avoid the rush. But what do others say, if there are any others who are interested?

Rog I don't think you should allow web addiction in your group - I say get "online" (by which I mean "offline").
Online = Face to Face; relationally online and present.
Offline = Not in real time, relationally queued.
Both are good, mind you. But will there be need for internet in "heaven"? Will there be need for the virtually real when the actually real is manifest? How virtual is faith? And is coffee the new sacrimental drink?

Well, I'm not in PTA I'm in JHB so I guess I just don't meet the criteria (sniff...)
But I would probably be keen to meet you guys anyway (okay, Roger I know, but I've never met you Steve and it would probably be cool to meet you.)
